A graduate certificate in Sports Performance from Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC) prepares you with the education and experience you need to serve a rapidly growing population of active youth and adults.

Our program focuses on science, functional analysis, and evidence-based exercise programming for performance, injury prevention, and overall health and fitness. It is designed primarily for those in health, fitness, exercise sciences, and sports fields, who rely on their knowledge of the human body and its capabilities to achieve the best results for their clients and patients.

Program Highlights

Our program offers a well-rounded education in sports performance, complementing the core doctor of chiropractic training. Here are just some of the potential benefits.

  • Specialized expertise: The certificate program equips you with in-depth knowledge and skills in sports performance, allowing you to differentiate yourself in the chiropractic, exercise science, or other healthcare professions. This additional expertise could also open doors to opportunities with sports teams, fitness centers, rehabilitation clinics, and performance enhancement centers.
  • Higher earning potential: For current chiropractic students, the specialized knowledge gained in the certificate program can increase job opportunities and potentially lead to higher salaries. If you are a current doctor of chiropractic, training in our sports certificate program can help you diversify your offerings and potentially earn more business.
  • Promotion prospects: Our graduate certificate can position you for promotion within your current organization, as you demonstrate your commitment to professional growth and expanded capabilities.
  • Networking: Engaging with our faculty and your peers in the sports performance program can result in networking connections with professionals in the sports performance marketplace. These connections can set up mentorship and employment opportunities, plus opportunities for future collaboration.

I think the longer I’m in practice, the more I reflect on how much the University did for me, and the more I’m compelled to give back and help the students who are there, to show them what the future can bring if they stick with chiropractic.
